Who We Are
Casaluxe Ledger is a sole proprietorship based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, operating online as Casa Luxe Ledger. We are a small, focused garden-tool shop that sells one thing well: pruning tools for home gardeners across India. Every order ships from Chennai, and every question is answered by a real person rather than a call centre.
Where We Started
The shop grew out of a frustration most gardeners know too well — reaching for a pair of secateurs and finding them blunt, rusted or so badly balanced that a single afternoon of trimming leaves your hand aching. Cheap tools crush stems instead of slicing them, bruise the plant and lose their edge within a season. We set out to put together a tidy range of sharp, durable, well-balanced pruning tools at a fair rupee price — the kind of tools you buy once and keep sharpening for years.
What We Set Out to Do
Our mission is simple: help people take better care of their gardens with pruning tools that actually cut. We stock bypass secateurs for live green growth, anvil pruners for dry and dead wood, hedge shears for shaping, and loppers for the thicker branches a hand pruner cannot reach. We would rather carry a small, honest selection we can stand behind than a giant catalogue of look-alike tools.
What We Care About
A few principles guide everything we list. Blade material and sharpness — we look for hardened carbon or stainless steel that takes a keen edge and holds it. Real sizes and specs — the cutting diameter, blade length and weight we publish are the ones you receive, so you can judge whether a tool suits your hands and your plants. Safety — locking catches, non-slip grips and sensible guards matter when you work around sharp steel. Honest photos — the images on a product page show the tool you will actually unbox, not a flattering stand-in.
An Online-Only Store
Casa Luxe Ledger runs entirely online. We do not operate a walk-in showroom, which keeps our overheads low and lets us pass fair prices on to you. We deliver right across India from Chennai, with free shipping on orders of ₹1,499 and above and a flat ₹69 on smaller orders. Payment is by UPI or Cash on Delivery — whichever you prefer.
